What emails are sent to me?
J.Wippell & Co. Ltd are keen to keep our customers up to date with the latest offers, new products and special commissions as well as relevant company news. To do this, we send out an e-newsletter also referred to as email marketing to customers that have provided consent and selected ‘yes - I would like to receive emails about J. Wippell & Co. Ltd’.
How often is it sent?
As a company we do not want to bombard you with emails and if you have opted-in to receiving our emails, we will send such emails once every 3 months. If the frequency of the e-newsletter changes then we will update our terms and notify customers that have opted in to receive it.
Where is information stored?
When you first register on Wippell.co.uk you will be asked if you wish to receive emails from J. Wippell & Co. Ltd. This refers to our e-newsletter as described in this article. In order to receive the e-newsletter you are asked to provide explicit consent, you must therefore select ‘yes’ in order to receive the email.
This information is stored along with your customer details in our secure online administration area accessed by authorised personnel only.
The e-newsletter uses a third party application called ‘Mailchimp’. Mailchimp is commercial mailing software. Data is imported into the secure application (Mailchimp) before sending.
How to change your consent?
If you wish to update your consent/ withdraw consent or add consent at any time you can do this by logging into your secure account at Wippell.co.uk using the email and password you registered on the ‘my profile’ page select the ‘edit’ button under ‘personal details’ and on ‘I would like to receive emails from J.Wippell & Co. Ltd select the appropriate option.
How to request erasure or deletion of your details?
If you wish for your details to be deleted or amended you can do this by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. You will need to highlight in the email your exact request and you may be asked to provide proof of identity as part of this process.
